Mission

To foster and enhance the academic, social, emotional, and professional needs of IMSA’s Black students and alumni. 

Vision

The Black Alumni Association will use the vast resources and networks of Black Alumni and allies to re-imagine and cultivate the IMSA experience as anti-racist, anti-oppressive, anti-white supremacist, and culturally responsive to the benefit of all IMSA students, and cultivate specific intellectual spaces to engage in issues of Blackness and Black student and alumni support. 

Goals

As an association, our goals are to:

1. Support Black students; 

2. Cultivate Black intellectual spaces; 

3. Design Black alumni networks;

4. Support racially and socially diverse academic initiatives.
