Membership

The Illinois Mathematics and Science Academy (IMSA) Black Alumni Association is comprised of 3 membership types:

• Executive Team: The co-founders who work together to run the initiatives of the BAA.

• Members: Self-identifying Black alumni of the academy. Members are invited to all events and digital safe spaces to network.

• Affiliates: Non-Black identifying allies of the BAA, which include IMSA alumni, parents of alumni, and faculty/staff. Affiliates are invited to general BAA events and discussions, and pledge to support the concerns and voices of Black students, parents, and alumni of the academy.
